It's the time of year when we all start thinking about what we're thankful for. This year, more than any other, I realize what a lucky guy I am. I'm so thankful to be surrounded by such a strong, supportive community like the one we've created at The Annex.

As I look back on our first full year in our new facility, I'm filled with gratitude for all the amazing people who come through our doors each day. Our coaches, who work such long hours and share their skills and knowledge with our athletes. Our parents, who support their children, our athletes, on their quests to fulfill their potential. And our athletes, who work so hard, pouring it all out every time they come into The Annex. They're the beating heart of this place, and I'm so thankful to know them and to be able to help them.

I'm especially thankful for the dedication and hard work our community put into our second Battle of the Boroughs, which raised more than $40,000 to support Team Joseph in its battle against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It says an awful lot about the soul of our community that we use our muscles to rally to help Joseph and his mom fund research for a cure.

So when I sat down at the table with Perrin and the girls yesterday and someone asked me what I'm thankful for, I spoke about the extraordinary community you've helped us build here at the Annex.

With gratitude for all you do every day to help us. Wishing you and your families a festive and fulfilling Thanksgiving holiday.

Best,

Mickey
