Coach Tim Laffey presents 6’7” Henry Voorhees, basketball player for Columbia High School (headed to DeSales University in Allentown, Pa.), as our Annex Athlete of the Month for his amazing progress since he started training with purpose. To cap off his success, Henry was a First Team selection for the best high school basketball players in the All-American division.
“We went hard three days a week from the get go, from early spring all through summer and fall, peaking around the start of the 2015-2016 season,” said Tim. “He seemed to fall in love with the process. Loved getting stronger and more powerful. He is so coachable. He does what I program for him and wants more, and has been so respectful throughout the whole process. I’m so proud of him and how much he has progressed.”
Henry told us he was looking for places to work out online and when he visited the Annex, he immediately connected with Coach Tim. “He seemed like a really good trainer who was going to get me stronger in the areas I needed. The Annex is also a really good facility,” he said.
