Over the summer of 2019, a relationship formed with The ANNEX and QB Country when two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning sought out The ANNEX for his preseason training. Manning was also a client of QB Country and very close with its founder David Morris. From that connection, QB Country NJ was born and The ANNEX is now offering comprehensive quarterback-specific training for athletes in 8th grade and up.
QB Country is the nation’s leading quarterback training and development company. Founded by former Ole Miss quarterback David Morris, QB Country currently trains NFL, college, high school and middle school quarterbacks in ten cities across the Southeast (including The ANNEX), with headquarters in Mobile, Alabama. Training focuses on proper footwork, throwing and body mechanics as well as the mental and physical aspects of playing the hardest position in sports. Our goal is to educate quarterbacks on how to play the correct way at game speed.
Current QBC trainees include Eli Manning (Giants), Gardner Minshew (Jaguars), Daniel Jones (Giants), Nick Mullens (49ers), AJ McCarron (Raiders), Jake Fromm (UGA), and Devlin Hodges (Steelers). QBC has trained three of the past seven FBS National Championship QBs.
